I wanted to post some photos from last Sunday morning. Erin, the Wentzel family and I all woke up early to catch the 8 am soccer match between Germany and England at the German Cultural Centre. WOW, what an electrifying game. Even in the morning the adrenaline and excitement was all around. We went mostly to watch the game but also to people watch and my oh my were we not disappointed. Cow bell noisemakers, german flags and beer steins (yes Germans drink beer at 8 am) were in abundance and guess who was the lucky winner of the door prize (a German Cultural Centre baseball cap)? That's right, yours truly.
Can't wait for this Saturday's match, Germany vs. Argentina. My sister Monica and I plan on wearing our dirndls... pictures to come.

Julius stole my door prize :) He now wears it out everywhere...
