So let me start by offering a sincere apology for having been shamefully negligent in contributing to this blog. I just got out of a rhythm and then it became a habit! Can I also blame the fact that I'm moving? I know, still no excuse. You both have posted some GREAT photos these past few weeks. Lisa, great new haircut and I look forward to celebrating your 30th with you when you return. I know it's too late, but I should have offered you my ukulele for the trip! Hey, if you're ever going to learn to play, what better time? Meghan, I had a dream about you last night. Let's just say that you have a new boyfriend. (And his name is Doug, JK!) I love what you've done with the blog. That headline banner is, well, just perfect.
I decided to start off again by posting photos of my new couch I bought from Salvation Army yesterday for $50. Okay, so it's not as nice as the one from Anthropologie, but I'm still quite enamoured. The only question, where to store it?

My new couch

Di! I screamed (well, on the inside - Jack is sleeping and I'm trying to keep it that way) TWICE while reading these two new posts.
ReplyDelete1. LOVE the new couch!! I am so excited that you found something so glamourous at such an affordable price. Cheers! You should store it at my place. And come over every day to sit on it. :)
2. The first scream came from your enthrallment of the Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Society book ... wasn't that passage you noted just perfect and completely relatable!! I am filled with joy knowing that you are reading an enjoying the book ... it brought me such happiness to read it. Meghan, you will love it too, I'm sure of it!
We are home from holidays and I will rejoin blogging tomorrow ... perhaps it will even be something from the holiday. (We have all cheated with posting something other than from THIS morning, have we not!) I love you ladies to bits and hope to see you both soon! xo
