Friday, April 23

Alright, well thank you again Lisa for keeping this blog going! I love the "re-dedication" of it to finding beauty in Edmonton. You're so right, if we have to live here then we have to make an attempt to love this city, or at least parts of it - even if it takes alcohol to make it appear better, haha.
My first posting with this theme is a bit of a medley of photos. The first few photos are from a night spent on the Sugarbowl patio with Meghan and Eric. Lots was being celebrated, in particular Eric's last day of nursing school and then also what felt like the first day of summer. We were disappointed to hear that Chimay bleue was no longer being carried, but our waitress recommended a great substitute, another beer from Belgium called Corsondonk, that was served in a beautiful crystal beer glass. It was a great night, lots of laughs and great conversation.
Next batch of photos are from Wednesday after a Prosecco and pizza date at Leva with Lisa, which then took us on a walk to one of my dream places to live in Edmonton, the Garneau Mews. Need I say more? Lisa and I then decided to try to get a photo of both of us using my iPhone, but as you will see this was a much more difficult task than we had initially thought. Much laughter ensued...
So cheers!!! Here's to great friends and what's bound to be a wonderful, beautiful summer!
