It was lovely having you two over for dinner on Thursday. Our conversation about Edmonton, the new Art Gallery, etc. has left me thinking. About Edmonton. And how I WANT to love where I live. I really, really do. It's not realistic to just ignore all that dissatisfies, but I don't want my overall impression of this city to be one of dissatisfaction. Otherwise it just becomes intolerable to live here. Agreed??
So I want to dedicate ... or try to ... dedicate my morning photos to things that are good/beautiful/funny/quirky about Edmonton. As I have not yet gotten out this morning, all I have to offer is a photo of the new fridge we got (yes, rather boring to look at, but I can't express how much pleasure it brings to have more space to put our food). And the other photo will be of a pitcher of daisies. Something like an ode to Spring and Summer ... may the flowers outdoors come quickly so we won't need as many "pick me ups" like this indoors.
