As if I wasn't spoiled enough yesterday in the Mother's Day Celebrations, I continually feel spoiled today. Jay woke up for Jack's 5:30am wakeup (sleeeeeping in ... wahoooo!!). By the time I awoke at 7:30, I was eager for the day to begin. No matter what it entailed. Relaxing, going out, staying in ... whatever. When Jay woke up again from his first morning Jack shift, we decided to go for a walk in the Rivervalley and head toward Sugar Bowl. By the time we got there, it was packed and all the coveted cinnamon buns were gone. Boo. So we popped into a few other places, much of the same - pastries nearly cleared out. But then, we stopped into Transcend and WOW. What great coffee they have!! AND yummy chocolate banana bread. It was the best reward for our lengthy morning stroll. On our way home, we came across this sweet little birdhouse. I just love the color red and how it pops from all the surrounding green. So pretty!
